HTTP Loopup - Monitoring Web Page Changes

The HTTP Lookup option enables Email2DB to read messages from external web pages. At a predefined interval, Email2DB can read the contents of a web page. If the content has changed since the last time the page was read, Email2DB will convert the page text into a message to be parsed and processed.



The HTTP Lookup option can be used to execute events based on changes to web pages. Email2DB triggers can also be fired if the HTTP lookup fails. This enables you to use Email2DB to send email or SMS notifications when a website is down.

You could use Email2DB to monitor web pages for changes and then execute actions when changes occur. You can also use it to convert results from web pages to database records automatically.
