Email2DB Datacenter Edition
Email2DB Datacenter edition builds on the powerful Email2DB platform to provide
another level of redundancy and high availability for your data processing
needs.
It includes the following features beyond the Enterprise edition:
Centralized Settings
Trigger & Account settings are stored in a central SQL Server database,
leveraging industry standard high availability technologies of SQL Server &
Microsoft Web Services to enable the triggers and account settings to be always
available to all instances of Email2DB within your enterprise. Each Email2DB
instance or group of instances can receive a different set of accounts and
triggers based on the connection details. When a change is made to the accounts
and triggers on one instance, this propagates through to the other instances.
Account & Trigger Versioning
Triggers & Account settings in the Centralized
Settings Store can be archived inside the store for a configurable period.
Through the administration web interface you can roll back the used settings for
Email2DB to an earlier version.
Datacenter Management Console
The web interface for the Email2DB Datacenter
Edition shows you the status of all your current Email2DB instances, a view of
the current settings, a view of the processed messages & actions, and the
ability to see the changes to the accounts and triggers.
XML Account / Trigger Creation API
The web services interface of the
Email2DB Datacenter Edition allows you to create, edit and remove both triggers
and accounts. You can submit standard Email2DB trigger XML, which is checked by
the Email2DB web services engine, before being sent to all Email2DB servers.
This will allow you to dynamically create and process Email2DB settings based on
your own code.
Shared Message Store
Multiple Email2DB instances can use the same message
store for storing the processed messages.
Email2DB Datacenter Client
The datacenter client allows you to connect to
the Datacenter web services, and modify Email2DB Triggers & Accounts for the
servers as if you were connecting from a server. The changes are automatically
sent out to all servers.
Email2DB Distributed Status Monitor
Each Email2DB Instance can be configured to monitor the other instances in the
network, and send out alerts based on failure of Email2DB instances, or even
execute service commands to attempt remote service restarts.
Email2DB Local Status Monitor
An independent status monitor that can monitor
the status of the other Email2DB servers and view the message processing
throughput of each one, and also show alerts based on configurable conditions
inside the monitor.
